Sylvia Duncan is a dedicated, accomplished, talented and professional individual, with diverse experience.  She invests her skills as an effective results-oriented communicator, to help others create the life they desire.  Her dedication to others has led her to pursue a career in real estate helping buyers to achieve dream of home ownership.

With more than 25 years as an Account Executive in the print and transit advertising sales industry and an additional nine years as a Major Gifts Officer with the Salvation Army, equipped Sylvia with the skills and compassion needed to help people realize their dreams. As a speaker and the founder of The Duncan Approach, a company dedicated to helping people live happy and whole lives, she coaches participants to live with resilience.  

Sylvia is the creator of the Climbing Higher Women’s Empowerment Conference which showcases a never seen before Life Coaching Panel; encouraging women to come up higher in their thinking and expectations for their life. The conference was featured on ABC-7 morning segment with Stacey Baca. Sylvia was also featured on WGN-TV’s People to People with host Tahman Bradley.  She has appeared as a guest on the Straight No Chaser Intellectual Radio Show with host Rai Rai Harris, and The Let’s Stay Together Radio Show with hosts Rick and Brenda McCain and was a regular columnist in The Neighbor, a neighborhood publication.

Sylvia attended East-West University in Chicago, IL., successfully completed a Coach Training Intensive with the CaPP Institute, receiving Certification as a Personal and Executive Coach.  She completed speakers training with the National Speakers Association’s NSA-IL Speaker Academy and 40 hours of domestic violence training with Family Rescue. 

Sylvia resides in Chicago.  When she is not coaching and conducting workshops, she spends her time with her granddaughters who she affectionately calls her Grand Princesses and her poodle/mix KCee.
